UAC Energy Holdings Pty Ltd is an investment holding company that holds 20% of Infigen Energy (ASX:IFN), a listed energy generation company operating in New South Wales, South Australia, and Western Australia.
UAC is owned by AC Renewables International and UPC\AC Renewables Australia. These entities are owned and controlled by AC Energy and UPC Renewables, long-time partners in developing, constructing, and operating renewable energy assets in and around Asia.
Board of directors
Bardin is the CFO of UPC\AC Renewables Australia. He holds over 20 years of investment banking and corporate experience in the energy and resources sectors. Previous roles include Head of the Resources & Energy Group - Asia Pacific, Deputy Head of Corporates Asia-Pacific and Head of Advisory Australia for HSBC and the Head of Greater China Resources and Head of Metals & Mining Asia for Macquarie Capital. During his career, Bardin has worked on a broad range of Australian and international advisory, capital markets and financing transactions. Bardin is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and holds a Masters of Applied Finance, Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Bachelor of Agricultural Economics (1st Class Hons).
Anton is the CEO of UPC\AC Renewables Australia. UPC\AC Renewables Australia is developing large Solar, Wind and Pumped Hydro Projects around Australia. Having built the business from one employee in Nov 2016, UPC\AC Energy Australia now has over 28 full time professionals and over 4,000MW in advanced development.
Anton Rohner is an Accountant by profession (CPA Australia).
Anton's experience includes over twenty years in management of the development and finance functions within the renewable energy and resources sectors, with five years as CFO for ASX200 listed companies.
Before being a CFO Anton held the position of Managing Director for Renewable Energy and Utilities at Macquarie Bank in Hong Kong, where he was responsible for advising and securing developments in renewable energy and utilities across Asia and Africa. Anton was also the Managing Director of Asia for Roaring 40s, based in Hong Kong, a partnership formed between China Light & Power and Hydro Tasmania to develop and operate sources of renewable energy throughout Asia and Australia. This partnership developed and financially closed over 2000MW of wind in Asia and Australia.
Patrice R. Clausse
Chief Operating Officer of AC Energy International. Patrice joined Ayala Corporation in May 2010 as an advisor to the Strategy and Business Development team. He was a founding member of the AC Energy management in 2011 where he led the business development and operations teams. Currently, he is heading AC Energy’s International business, with focus on South East Asia and Australia.
Patrice is a member of the Board of Directors/ Management & Advisory Committee of AC Energy International Projects. Prior to joining Ayala, he was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in London as well as with Marakon Associates (now part of Charles River Associates).
Patrice received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Manufacturing Engineering from Cambridge University (UK). He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School where he graduated with high distinction as Baker Scholar.
Jose Maria P. Zabaleta
Chief Development Officer of AC Energy, Inc, and Chief Executive Officer of ACE Endevor, the development arm of AC Energy. ACE Endevor currently has over 3,000MW of generation capacity under active development.
Prior to joining AC Energy, Sech was co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bronzeoak Philippines, a pioneer and leader in clean technology energy development in the Philippines. Since 2004 and under his leadership, the Bronzeoak Group has been responsible for nearly $1 billion in deployed capital across 16 completed projects with multiple international partners and investors. Among Bronzeoak’s projects were Asia’s first sugarcane to ethanol and power cogeneration plant, the country’s first utility-scale solar power plant, six additional solar plants, and three biomass-fired thermal power plants utilising agricultural residues. Bronzeoak’s energy businesses were integrated into AC Energy, Inc. in late 2016.
Sech was born and raised in the Philippines and is a graduate of Ateneo de Manila University with a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, USA.
